gapa (grandmothers against poverty and aids)

GAPA’s objective is to mobilise and empower senior citizens to develop skills and a support network to enable them to address the needs of their HIV positive family members. I&J have previously funded a community hall and trading store to enable GAPA to manufacture handicrafts for sale to generate funds. This year I&J funded the building of a classroom at the central GAPA office to provide much-needed aftercare facilities for local primary school children. 

The investment for this project was R175,000.
