Following the successful sponsorship and installation of a playpump at Borite Primary School in the Pilansberg area 2 years ago, the Social Investment Trust agreed to sponsor a second project at Ehlezeni Primary School in rural KZN.

The playpump concept is a progressive and creative means to provide free and fresh drinking water in a rural area. 

This unique playpump project provides clean drinking water by installing a well which is powered by a children’s merry-go-round. Our branding and health messages are displayed on the accompanying water tower.

The cost of this project amounts to R110,000.
